Body of Tulare woman found off coast of Morro Bay, police say. She was missing 2 weeks

The body of a San Joaquin Valley woman reported missing about two weeks ago was found off the coast of Morro Bay, Tulare police said Wednesday.

The remains of Tiffany McClure, 47, were found about 4:15 p.m. Monday by the U.S. Coast Guard while on routine patrol, Tulare police said in a news release.

The San Luis Obispo County Coroner’s Office confirmed her identity the following day.

Investigators from Tulare and Morro Bay both worked on the case and determined no foul play in her death, police said in a news release. The San Luis Obispo coroner was yet to conduct an autopsy and determine the official cause of death.

McClure was reported missing about 1:45 p.m. on July 23 to Tulare police. Her white BMW was found legally parked, locked and showed no signs of foul play the next day near Morro Strand State Beach Campground, Morro Bay police previously said.
