Two hikers who were reported missing in Yosemite National Park over the weekend were found safe Monday.

The National Park Service on Sunday evening reported that Miguel Delgado, 63, and Ana Rodarte, 40, left Bridalveil Creek Campground around 10 a.m. Saturday for a day hike possibly towards Ostrander Lake in the national park in Central California.

They had planned to return in two hours but never returned.

The Yosemite Search and Rescue team as well as CalOES and the California Highway Patrol found Miguel Delgado and Ana Rodarte around 2 p.m. Monday.

Both were to be reunited with family.
