A bicyclist was killed Friday night after he was struck by a vehicle in Fresno.

Officers responded to the collision at 11:30 p.m. at Clinton Avenue, near the Highway 99 on ramp, Fresno police Lt. Zeb Price said.

Officers found the man on the roadway with serious injuries.

First responders administered CPR before the man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The man is said to be in his 30s or 40s.

Price said the truck was traveling eastbound on Clinton when he struck the man.

The driver stopped and assisted in the officers’ investigation.
