Woman seriously injured after vehicle strikes her on Fresno roadway. Driver called 911

A woman was injured Friday night when she was struck be a vehicle in Fresno.

The collision was located at First Street and Clinton Avenue around 9 p.m.

Fresno police Lt. Zeb Price said a 40-year-old woman walked out in the roadway and was struck by white sedan.

The woman was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the white sedan remained on scene and call 911.

Price said the woman will be listed at fault for being a pedestrian in the roadway.
