Coroner identifies man killed after his motorcycle collided with truck in Fresno

The motorcyclist killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision near McKinley and Blackstone avenues in Fresno has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

Adam Garza, 26, was killed at 1 p.m. when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at McKinley Avenue and Effie Street.

Police said Garza was traveling east on McKinley from Blackstone when he struck a pickup truck.

Citizens helped the Garza before he was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died, police said.

Police said Garza was on a Yamaha and it was believed he was going at a high rate of speed.

The driver of the truck wasn’t injured and was cooperative with officers.

A GoFundMe account has been created to help Garza’s family with funeral costs.
