Sanger man ID’d by Fresno County coroner after fatal head-on crash in Yokuts Valley
A Sanger man was identified Tuesday afternoon after a deadly head-on crash Sunday in Fresno County.
The victim killed was 30-year-old Victor Soto Orocio.
The crash happened along Highway 180 and George Smith Road in Yokuts Valley around 5:30 a.m.
The CHP said Orocio was driving a Chevrolet Equinox east on 180 when he went into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a Toyota Tundra.
Orocio was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two people in the other vehicle were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for lacerations to their hands and one had a broken arm, CHP said.
Alcohol or drugs don’t appear to be a factor, CHP said.
