UPDATE: Missing mom and son from Fresno area found safe in New Mexico, sheriff’s office says

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office needs help locating a missing mom and her son.

Savanna Leavitt, 27, and Ezekiel Hooten, 5, were last seen Friday in Auberry in the eastern Fresno County foothills.

The sheriff’s office on Sunday said Leavitt was last known to be driving a white 2014 Subaru Crosstrek with a California license 8LNS393.

She is believed to have last been in the area of Jose Basin and Marvin Ranch roads.

Leavitt is 5-6 and has brown eyes and hair. She was wearing a black jogging pants, a gray shirt and an unknown color bandanna.

Ezekiel is described to be 3-foot-9 with blue eyes and blond hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt with unknown color shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at 559-600-3111. The reference case number is 23-12070.
