Coroner identifies man found dead in Clinton Avenue canal in Fresno
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the dead man whose body was recovered from a central Fresno canal.
Arthur Valenzuela, 69, of Fresno, was found in the canal south of Clinton Avenue and west of Millbrook Avenue around 1 1 a.m. Tuesday.
A person saw a body that appeared to be floating in the canal and called the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency personnel arrived and recovered Valenzuela from the canal.
