Woman, two juveniles suffer serious injury after getting ejected in Fresno crash

Fresno Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in southeast Fresno where three people were ejected, including two children.

The crash happened about 7 p.m. at Hamilton and Maple avenues.

Lt. Henry Garcia said a truck was traveling southbound on Maple when the vehicle collided with a minivan occupied by a woman and two juveniles and a fourth person.

The woman and two juveniles were ejected.

The woman and two juveniles were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries, Garcia said.

The fourth person in the van was uninjured.

Garcia said officers were conducting a field sobriety test to see if the driver of the truck was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Two people were inside the truck and were not injured.

The relationship of the people in the minivan was not immediately known.
