A Fresno school bus carrying one child was involved in a crash Wednesday, according to California Highway Patrol.

No child was injured when a smaller gray sedan was headed west on Gates Avenue and turned left onto Corona Avenue about 8 a.m. before colliding with an SUV going east, CHP said.

The crash pushed the two vehicles into the school bus, which was stopped and waiting for the light on Corona to change, CHP said.

The sedan and SUV each included a driver and one passenger. Two were transported to the hospital for precautionary reasons, but the child on the bus was not hurt, CHP said.

It was not immediately clear where the bus was headed, CHP said.

The CHP investigates all crashes involving school buses.
