Deputies respond to an accident at popular Halloween attraction Hobb’s Grove in Sanger

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a person got stuck underneath a tractor trailer Thursday night at the popular local Halloween attraction Hobb’s Grove, which is about 20 miles east of Fresno in Sanger.

UPDATE: Hobb’s Grove employee injuries not life threatening, deputies say. Tractor ran over him

Deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s are on scene of an industrial accident Thursday night at Hobb’s Grove.

The accident was called in just before 9:30 p.m.

Deputies said a Hobb’s Grove employee was riding a tractor trailer with other people when he fell off and got stuck under the massive vehicle.

The status of the victim is not known. It also was not immediately known why the person fell from the moving vehicle.

Deputies and emergency personnel in fire trucks and an ambulance raced over with their sirens flashing to the remote location, and the victim was transported to a local hospital.

Hobb’s Grove is a popular Halloween attraction that annual opens during the fall and is known for its haunted house, scary haystack ride through a haunted forest and pumpkin patch.

It’s located about 20 miles east of Fresno on the outskirts of Sanger.
