One woman was killed in a single-car crash at Belmont and Parkway avenues Friday morning in Fresno.

According to police, officers responded to the area around 7:45 a.m. and found a red four-door sedan that had flipped and landed on its roof. The driver, the car’s only occupant, “suffered fatal injuries and was deceased at the scene.”

It was reported that the driver hit a stabilizing wire on a power or telephone pole and was thrown from the car. Police said a fatal traffic collision investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.

Belmont Avenue was closed for several hours during the investigation.

The victim was identified Friday by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office as Jinnah Conley, 22, unknown city of residence.
