Coroner identifies Fresno County man killed in rollover crash near Caruthers
A Fresno County pickup driver killed near Caruthers on Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash was identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
The man was identified as Daniel Muniz, 61, of Caruthers.
The incident took place about 3:20 p.m. as Muniz was driving a Mazda B23000 and went southbound on Marks Avenue, south of Dinuba Avenue, when he left the roadway and overturned in a vineyard.
Muniz was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
