Commercial fire south of Fresno requires help from additional departments, Cal Fire says

Fire crews early Friday contained a commercial structure fire in the industrial area south of Fresno.

Cal Fire Fresno County units responded at 3:38 a.m. to the blaze in the 2300 block of South Orange Avenue at Church Avenue.

“Additional fire engines and ladder trucks were required,” Battalion Chief Dan Urias said.

Crews from the Clovis, Fresno and North Central Fire departments responded.

According to Urias, 25 personnel were at the scene, including six engines, two ladder trucks and two water tenders.

There were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.
