Fresno County fire crew pulls woman from Avocado Lake. A helicopter flew her out

A woman was pulled from Avocado Lake in eastern Fresno County but her condition remained unclear Friday.

Fresno County Cal Fire firefighters were called to the lake about 5:15 p.m. Thursday and found the woman in the water, according to Battalion Chief Dan Urias.

The crew from the Piedra Fire Station pulled her from the water but she was unresponsive, he said in an email.

The crew performed life-saving efforts until a Skylife Air helicopter took her away to Community Regional Medical Center, he said.

Her condition was unclear as of Friday morning.
