That Van Gogh exhibit confirms its Fresno dates. Where, when and how much it will cost
The immersive art exhibit Beyond Van Gogh announced it would be in Fresno on limited engagement without sharing many actual details — like when or where or how much it would cost.
The show’s producer promised those details would come soon.
And now they have.
According to a news release, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience opens May 27 at Exhibit Hall C of the Fresno Convention Center and will run Wednesdays to Sundays through July 17 (hours of operation vary). Ticket prices start at $39.99 ($23.99 for children 5-15) and went on sale beginning 9 a.m. Thursday online at vangoghfresno.com.
Tickets will sell out quickly, according to the release, so take that as you will.
For those not following, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is one of several traveling exhibitions to feature work from the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter. It uses 3D projection technology and music to illuminate more than 300 pieces of Van Gogh’s work.
The exhibit space will feature three distinct spaces — an Education Room, a Waterfall Room and the Immersive Experience Room —that will envelop guests in Van Gogh’s “ever-shifting, swirling and colorful flowers, cafes and stunning landscapes.”
