UPDATE: Power still out for some PG&E customers in Fresno after 13 hours

UPDATE: As of 5:30 p.m. the PG&E outage map showed 41 customers still without power in the area of Effie and Grant avenues.

The power in the area had gone out around 3:30 Monday morning due to equipment issues. The energy company said that power in the area should be restored around 10:30 p.m.

Earlier, the power outage in northeast Fresno left 2,075 customers without lights and heat Monday morning.

The energy company said the outage struck about 8 a.m. in an area near Nees, Bullard, Cedar and Villa Avenues.

Power was expected to be out until about 11:30 a.m.

The cause was being investigated.
