Three extracted from truck after two-vehicle crash on foggy Fresno roadway

Emergency workers extracted three people from a pickup and treated a person in a second vehicle for injuries after a crash in heavy fog in southeast Fresno Monday morning.

The collision took place about 8:30 a.m. at East Jensen and South Minnewawa avenues when the pickup collided with a Toyota Camry at the intersection. The pickup flipped on impact, and those injured included a 4-year-old and a person in their 60s, according to police spokeswoman Diana Trueba Vega.

The injuries were non life-threatening. The occupant of the Camry complained of pain after the crash.

Police did not immediately know who was at fault in the collision.
