Power outage will keep Fresno’s main courthouse closed for part of the week
The Fresno County Superior Court main courthouse will reopen Wednesday after being temporarily closed for part of the week due to a power outage.
Power first went out Monday morning and the main courthouse remained closed Tuesday.
“Repairs have since been completed and the power has been restored,” said Suzanne Abi-Rached, the court’s media coordinator, in an email Tuesday.
Court officials were not sure what caused the power outage.
While the main courthouse was closed, in-custody arraignments were heard in departments 95 and 96 at the North Annex Jail.
All other matters will be rescheduled and parties will be notified of the new date.
All other court locations continued to operate as scheduled.
