A motorcyclist was killed in a Saturday morning crash in central Fresno.

The Fresno County coroner’s office identified the man as 45-year-old Jammie Wilson of Fresno.

It happened at 9:06 a.m. at North Vagedes and West Shields avenues, just east of Fruit Avenue, in a collision that also involved a pickup truck.

Witnesses told police that the motorcycle driver was “possibly speeding” and the driver of the truck accidentally pulled into the path of the motorcycle, according to Fresno Police Lt. Carl E. McKnight.
