Update: Missing California boys found safe, police say

Update: The two boys have been found safe as of Friday afternoon and returned to their parents, said Parlier Police Sgt. David Cerda. They were both at a friends house in Parlier, police said.

Original story: Parlier police believe two missing boys from the city may be on the run from their families together.

Lyonel Joshua Garnette, 12, was last seen on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., and Gonzolo Peridia, 13, was last seen on Thursday at 9:30 p.m., according to police.

Lyonel is described as 4 feet 8 inches, 95 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last wearing a yellow hoodie, blue jeans and black and red Nike shoes. He has a scar on the corner of his right eye.

Gonzolo is described as 5 foot 3 inches, 150 pounds with black eyes and brown hair. He was wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and gray shoes.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the department at 559-646-6600.
