Pedestrian killed at Clinton and Weber identified
A man killed late Tuesday night when he was struck by a pickup near West Clinton and North Weber avenues was identified Thursday by the Fresno County Coroner as Daniel Ortega.
Police said that the driver of the pickup had a green light and was unable to stop in time to avoid the collision.
Ortega, 41, had been cited previously for crossing a roadway outside of a crosswalk, said Lt. Richard Tucker.
