Fresno Coroner identifies recent fatalities

The Fresno County Coroner Tuesday released identities of recent victims of violent crime and motor vehicle fatalities.

A woman who was the victim of a homicide Friday at Illinois and Winery avenues was identified as Charity Depina, 22, of Fresno. Police call it a case of domestic violence and have arrested Depina’s boyfriend, Gabriel Salinas, 43.

A motorcycle driver who crashed into a canal on Peach Avenue near Central Avenue on Nov. 4 was identified as Sky Hoisington, 39, of Fresno. The driver who died the same day after a crash on Nielsen Avenue was Francis Milian, 45, of Kerman.

Two people killed in a collision at Jensen and Chestnut avenues on Nov. 5 were Christopher Lopez, 31, and Manuel Sanchez, 30, both of Fresno.

Edgar Cruz, 30, of Coalinga died Oct. 21 after an automobile crash at Highway 33 near Highway 198. On the same day, Lilia Ornelas Lara, 51, residence unknown, died in a collision at Manning and Anchor avenues in Orange Cove.

Roger Barsoom, 67, of Fresno was struckby two vehicles on Highway 180 between Willow and Peach avenues on Oct. 23.
