San Joaquin Valley receives little rain

Parts of the San Joaquin Valley received .01 inches of rain in a storm that moved through late Sunday night and early Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Weekend rain was reported as early as Saturday in Hanford, but was sporadic. There were traces of rain in many places Monday morning, but nothing measurable.

The rest of the week is expected to be sunny with high temperatures ranging between the low 70s to mid 80s.
