Two Tulare County public employees test positive for coronavirus
Two public employees at the Tulare County Health and Human Services Lindsay District Office have tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the County of Tulare Human Services Branch, the employees began to show signs and notified supervisors. They were tested and quarantined while waiting for the results.
The County instructed all employees to not go to work if they show any symptoms of illness during the waiting period.
Officials have closed the location for cleaning and will be notifying all members of the county workforce with whom may have had potential contact with the employees.
This comes after Tulare County had announced a new coronavirus related death on Friday morning. The death in Tulare County was the third reported so far by county health officials.
