Three new coronavirus cases in Fresno County, putting total at 6

There are three new coronavirus cases in Fresno County, health officials announced Friday morning.

None of the new COVID-19 cases were community acquired, according to the Fresno County Department of Health, which will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. Friday with more information.

This brings the total number of cases in Fresno County to six. One of those cases was contracted person-to-person. There has been zero deaths.

Tulare County has seven confirmed cases. Madera County jumped to three cases on Thursday.

California has a total of 1,006 positive cases, according to the state’s department of public health So far, 19 people have died.
