28 Valley restaurants win awards: Is your favorite on the list?

The Fresno chapter of the California Restaurant Association honored 28 restaurants and other food companies during its Best of the Valley Restaurant Awards on March 7.

The winners were chosen by 2,500 of their local restaurant “industry peers.”

John Harris of Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Best Sushi: Edo-Ya Tokyo Cuisine

Best Winery: CRU Wine Company

Best Sports Bar: The Mad Duck Craft Brewery

Best Hotel/Casino Dining: Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino

Best Italian Restaurant: Parma Restaurant

Best Newcomer: The Annex Kitchen

Best Kept Secret: School House Restaurant

Friendliest Service: BJ’s Kountry Kitchen

Best Watering Hole: FIVE Restaurant

Most Romantic Restaurant: Erna’s Elderberry House Restaurant

Best Steak: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Best Banquet: Pardini’s Catering & Banquets
