The Curry Pizza Company in Fresno wants to celebrate National Nurses Week by giving away free pizza to all healthcare workers.

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, the two Fresno restaurants will offer a free medium pizza to healthcare professionals in uniform or who show an ID badge.

No purchase necessary.

Workers can choose from either a pepperoni pizza or butter chicken pizza, part of the restaurant’s Indian-influenced menu.

Only the Fresno locations are participating, including the restaurant at Shaw and Marks avenues, and the one at Willow and Nees avenues.

Last year, the locally owned restaurants served free food to 3,000 healthcare workers.
