Another Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opens in Fresno area. The new location also has a Cinnabon
Another The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee shop has opened, this one just north of Fresno at a Madera truck stop.
The coffee shop opened its first location in Fresno late last month, in the Park Crossing shopping center at Friant Road and Fresno Street.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has a huge fan base, with Fresnans eagerly awaiting the opening of the first location. It was the second-most requested business at that shopping center, after Trader Joe’s.
The location in Madera opened Monday and is inside the Refresh Travel Center, a newly built truck stop on Avenue 7, just west of Highway 99.
Because it’s part of a food court with other restaurants, the coffee shop does not sell food. It has the full drink menu, including the Ice Blended drinks and lattes it’s known for.
The coffee shop is part of a food court with several other restaurants, including a newly opened Cinnabon.
Cinnabon
Cinnabon no longer has a location in Fresno. The one in Fashion Fair mall closed, leaving area truck stops as the only places to get the chain bakery’s warm gooey cinnamon rolls.
In addition to the new Cinnabon location in Madera, the treats are also available at Pilot travel centers in Madera, Tulare and Lost Hills.
Along with Cinnabon and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, the new truck stop in Madera is home to a KFC, Pizza Hut and an Indian Curry Naan Stop restaurant. Opening soon are a Yogurtland and Fatburger/Buffalo’s Express.
The truck stop also has a Shell gas station, walk-in beer cooler, a full convenience store, restrooms, more than a dozen Tesla charging stations and will soon have a wine store.
Details: Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is inside the Refresh Travel Center, 32603 Avenue 7 in Madera.
