Fresno’s new Peet’s Coffee counter finally opens. Where, when to find its popular drinks

The Peet’s Coffee counter in northwest Fresno is open.

The mini coffee shop inside The Post at the northwest corner of Bullard and West opened quietly Friday. Formerly the Bullard Pharmacy, the business also houses a gift shop and a U.S. Post Office.

Peet’s Coffee has a following and customers have been eagerly awaiting the opening while work on the counter was ongoing for more than a year. Construction delays took longer than expected, said The Post store manager Dana Elder.

Peet’s at The Post offers the full menu of drinks, everything from lattes to mochas and a holiday spice latte with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.

“When we were telling the customers on Friday, everyone was going back and getting drinks,” she said. “They are really good drinks.”

This Peet’s does not sell food yet, but will eventually, she said.

Since it’s a partnership with the coffee giant and not a full-fledged stand-alone coffee shop, it can’t take Peet’s gift cards.

Of course, it’s not the only place to get Peet’s in town.

Peet’s has a presence inside Community Regional Medical Center and Eddie’s Bakery Cafe also serves the brand, for example.

Details: Peet’s at The Post is at 2026 W. Bullard Ave. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays. Closed Sundays. The Post is at 559-438-6768.
