Want to support Black-owned businesses? Buy this beer from a Fresno brewery
Looking for a way to support Black-owned businesses in Fresno?
Full Circle Brewing Co. is selling a Black is Beautiful beer, with profits going to organizations that support Black-owned businesses and the fight against racial inequality.
The beer is an Imperial stout with 10% alcohol by volume.
Full Circle is one of 1,000 breweries in 20 countries participating in the Black is Beautiful campaign. The brewery is majority Black-owned with “one of the most diverse staff you will find in the craft beer industry,” said CEO and majority owner Arthur Moye.
In Fresno, profits from the beer will go to two organizations, the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce, and INROADS, Inc., an organization that works to get more ethnically diverse workers in corporate management positions.
The beer costs $14.99 for a four-pack of 16-ounce cans.
It will be released Friday, Aug. 7 at www.fullcircle2go.com, but can be pre-ordered now. The beer can be picked up at the downtown brewery at 620 F St.
The brewery closed its Tower District location due to the pandemic.
