Central Valley residents will have even more of a reason to cool off with offers and discounts on National Ice Cream Day this Sunday, July 19.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream at 8472 North Friant Rd. is offering the first 250 customers a free hat with any ice cream purchase.

Petco

Petco has three locations in Fresno: 8474 N Friant Rd., 4144 N Blackstone Ave. and 6557 Riverside Dr., as well as a location in Visalia at 3444 S Mooney Blvd. and one in Madera at 2140 W Cleveland Ave., Ste 100. As part of National Ice Cream Day, dog owners can bring their pets to the store for free dog ice cream. (Limit one scoop per dog.)

Del Taco

Del Taco, which has one location in Fresno (5385 N Blackstone Ave.), one in Clovis (1415 Herndon Ave.), one in El Centro (2039 N Imperial Ave.), one in Visalia (5348 W Cypress Ave.) and one in Tulare (1415 Hillman St.). From Friday through Sunday, Del Taco rewards members can enjoy a buy one, get one free on regular shakes.

GoPuff

GoPuff, a delivery service app, is offering users two HaloTop pints for $10 through Sunday.

DashMart

DashMart, a convenience store with a location at 300 West Shaw Avenue in Clovis, is offering customers who buy two Soft Pints or Mini Swirls $5 off.

Other Promotions

Ampersand Ice Cream, which has three Fresno locations (1940 N Echo Ave., 7010 N Marks Ave., Ste. 101 and 2886 E Shepherd Ave. #108) is offering exclusive one-day-only flavors for National Ice Cream Day. Additionally, the stores are opening at 11 a.m. for Pint Club members; everyone else will be able to enter at the store’s normal noon start time.
