Electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling to play Saroyan Theatre
Contemporary violinist Lindsey Stirling will stop in Fresno on the final date of her just-announced summer tour.
Stirling is set to play Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Saroyan Theatre, proof that the Save Mart Center isn’t the only music venue landing shows recently. Tickets for the concert are $29.50-$49.40 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the theater box office, select Vallarta and Save Mart Supermarkets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone, 800-745-3000. Pre-sale tickets are available starting 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21, online, or through the Live Nation mobile app.
The tour announcement comes with plans of new studio album, and on the heels of Stirling’s surprise appearance at last weekend’s Coachella music festival – she guested with EDM artist Robert Delong.
Stirling is a classically trained violinist who first appeared as a quarter-finalist on season five of “America’s Got Talent” and cemented her fame via YouTube. She was ranked No. 4 on Forbes list of “YouTube Millionaires” in 2015. Her channel has more than 7.8 million subscribers and the video for the song “Crystallize” has more than 145 million views. Stirling has parlayed the attention into two successful albums and collaborations with artists like Halestorm lead singer Lzzy Hale (“Shatter Me”) and singer John Legend (“All of Me”).
