Luke Bryan returns to Fresno, Save Mart Center on Proud to Be Right Here tour

Luke Bryan isn’t waiting long to get back to Fresno.

The party-centric country singer performed to a sold-out crowd at the Save Mart Center in August.

He’ll be back in October on his Proud to Be Right Here tour.

Bryan announced the tour this month and the Save Mart Center confirmed he’ll perform at the arena Oct. 8. Tickets are $34.75-$100.75 and on sale 10 a.m. Friday at the box office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket presales begin 8 a.m. Tuesday. See ticketmaster for a complete listing.

The tour will support Bryan’s new album, “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here,” which is scheduled for release April 24. Morgan Wallen, Runaway June and Caylee Hammack will serve as openers.

Bryan has been touring through the Central Valley for more than a decade now so local fans have seen his assent to country music superstardom. He played the Tulare Outlets back in 2007 around the time of his debut. He first played the Save Mart Center in 2011 as an opener for Tim McGraw.

To quote The Bee’s review: “Luke Bryan is a sex god! He can work the crowd.“

Also: “I am sure Luke Bryan will be his own main act in the near future.”

By 2016, he was headlining the arena.
