Feeling that ugly Christmas sweater vibe? Head out to one of these party spots
Used to be that the only way to score a truly ugly Christmas sweater was to raid your grandma’s closet or get creative with DIY craft paint and glitter.
Now there are entire websites dedicated to upping the ridiculousness that is ugly sweaters.
The Popeyes-themed Christmas sweater is sold out for the season at uglychristmassweater.com. You can still get an Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself sweater in one of three different colors, if it’s any consolation.
So, ugly Christmas sweaters are definitely a thing.
As are Ugly Christmas Sweater Parties, which are happening at bars and clubs all over town this month.
Full Circle Brewing in downtown Fresno has its party Friday with an ugly sweater contest, cookie decorating station, craft vendors and photo booth.
Also Friday, Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company marks its third annual ugly sweater party. This one is pet friendly (that’s dog friendly) with donations going to Fresno Humane Animal Services.
The Wakehouse in Reedley also has a Friday-night ugly sweater party with food pop-ups from El Rincon Americano and Casa Oinari, plus Live music from Trey Tosh and a tap takeover from Firestone Walker.
For those in Clovis, Bobby Salazar’s hosts its ugly sweater party on Saturday night with drink specials and karaoke.
