Mr. Worldwide returns to Fresno in 2020. It’s one of just three California shows
Pitbull has a history with Fresno’s Save Mart Center.
The Latin rapper/performer and style icon kicked off his first-ever solo tour at the arena in 2016 and returned the following year for a co-headlining gig with fellow Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias.
He returns to the arena in 2020.
Pitbull performs Feb. 7. Tickets for the show are $39.95 to $129.95 and go on sale at noon Friday at the box office or at www.ticketmaster.com. Artist presales begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
This is the first show announced for 2020 and just one of three California dates listed so far on Pitbull’s website. He also has performances scheduled in Indio and Temecula for March 14 and 15, respectively.
For those unfamiliar, Pitbull came out of the mid-2000s as superstar guest on tracks from Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins and Twista. On his own, he’s known for creating uptempo party songs.
He’s had No. 1 hits in more than 15 countries, plus 8 billion YouTube views and single sales in excess of 70 million. The Miami rapper parlayed those successes into business deals with Voli Vodka and Playboy Enterprises (and Bud Light, Kodak, Dr. Pepper, Dodge and Visit Florida) and his own New Year’s Eve concert party.
His latest album, “Libertad 548,” was released in September.
