The downtown music venue has three shows to celebrate the anniversary of its opening weekend back in 2011. The official party is Friday night with 40 Watt Hype and The Box. Also on the calendar: The 11th annual Jurassic Rock benefit on Saturday night and Fresno’s Beatles tribute, The Beetles, on Sunday. Details: Nightly concerts, through Sunday. The most in-demand tickets for the week is comedian Jo Koy. His website lists the Fresno date as sold out, though a few tickets were available on Ticketmaster as of Wednesday. This is summertime music, the kind that is perfect for a major festival. Like California Roots, maybe. Iration headlines that festival in Monterey in May. Jurassic tour

The week’s choice for an outing with the kids. See moving, breathing, walking dinosaurs. It’s like visiting Jurassic World (you know, from the movie) without the fear of being eaten.
