Win tickets to Banda MS at The Big Fresno Fair

The Big Fresno Fair opens this week for a 12-day run of fried-food, odd-ball animal attractions, Fresno history and a live entertainment lineup that includes nightly shows at the Paul Paul Theatre.

The Beehive will be giving away tickets to the full run of shows, including a 7 p.m. performance from the Regional Mexican group Banda MS, Sunday, Oct. 9.

Banda MS is short for Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga, whose 16-members formed in Sinaloa in 2003. The all-brass band’s album, “Que Bendicion” was No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin albums chart and also also ranked 71 on Billboard’s Top 200, showing its popularity with bilingual millennial fan who may not otherwise be into banda music.

Winners will be chosen at random, notified via email or Facebook (be sure to check your message requests) and be able to pick the tickets up at The Fresno Bee office, 1626 E. Street in Fresno.
