Meet the guy who scored eight TDs, including a 73-yarder
On the night that Orosi High celebrated homecoming 2017, senior Jeremiah Huerta gave the Cardinals plenty to cheer all by himself.
Huerta exploded for a whopping eight touchdowns while leading Orosi to a 58-28 win against Farmersville in an East Sierra League contest.
Huerta, who finished with 384 rushing yards, scored more points by himself than all but eight Central Section teams Friday.
He ran in touchdowns from 4, 26, 20, 38, 73, 7, 15 and 67 yards on the night en route to being named The Bee’s Week 7 Star of the Night.
And you knew Huerta would be in for a big game after his first carry resulted in a 67-yard touchdown.
Orosi (5-2), under first-year coach Ben White, has won three straight.
