Why doesn’t Fresno have a museum?
On vacation, I went to the Las Vegas Clark County Museum. Why doesn’t Fresno have a museum like that? I feel it should.
I learned a lot from the museum. Long ago, that area used to be underwater. It changed over time from ocean, to forest, to desert. Native tribes settled in this area, then miners came and the city of Las Vegas was born. Casinos were built and a military base. Scary atomic bombs were tested in the desert. The museum had such fun replicas and displays. I didn’t even know that I was learning.
This is why I want a museum in Fresno County. Fresno’s history could be fun to learn. Fresno’s story could be told from long ago to present day. It could be a great experience for students and tourists. People could learn about the land, natives, farmers, and settlers. Replicas of famous buildings would be fun to see too.
The Fresno County Museum of Natural History could be a great experience. Fresno has many different people with stories to tell and telling these stories would make the museum fun for people of all ages. I hope that someday this museum can be built.
