    Peter Reta, schools resource officer for Valley Prep Academy, discusses another tool being used to safeguard students at the school: the Raptor Technologies scanner, which is a safety program that scans school visitors' IDs to check the sex offender registry and possibly other crimes. If cleared, it prints out out a visitor's pass with the visitor’s photo on it.
