A teenager is dead after multiple people were shot in Visalia on Saturday morning, said Sgt. Paul Esquibel.

Police found three adult men suffering gunshot wounds. They were taken to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead, Visalia Police said.

Two of the men were standing in front of the home when they were shot. The other man, who was inside the home sleeping, was hit by a stray bullet, police said.

The man killed was identified Sunday as Deonte Porchia, 19, of Visalia.

The suspect may have shot the men from a vehicle, Visalia police said.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Visalia Police Department at 559-734-8117.
