Police are investigating the city’s 19th murder this year after a man was found stabbed to death Tuesday morning at a sober living facility in southeast Fresno.

Lt. Joe Gomez said officers were called to the area near McKenzie Avenue and Second Street just after 9 a.m., where a friend of the victim discovered the 57-year-old man’s body. It appeared the victim died several hours earlier.

The identity of the victim was not released pending notification of family.
