Three people were wounded in a drive-by shooting at a southwest Fresno home Wednesday night as they were gathered with friends and family, police said.

Officers received a call at 9:36 p.m. for a shooting in the 2300 block of Eunice Avenue, between Reverend Chester Riggins and Belgravia avenues, Lt. Dave Ramos said. Two women, ages 24 and 27, were found at the scene with non life-threatening gunshot wounds. They were taken to Community Regional Medical Center and were reported in stable condition.

A 30-year-old man left the scene before officers arrived and drove himself to the hospital for treatment of a non life-threatening wound, Ramos said.

Witnesses told police an older model, black four-door Buick with tinted windows and rims was traveling south on Eunice Avenue toward Belgravia Avenue when a front-seat passenger fired 12 to 15 shots at a gathering involving friends and family in front of a home, Ramos said. The car continued down Eunice and left the area before officers arrived.

Bullets struck two cars in the neighborhood, but the homes were left unscathed by the gunfire, Ramos said. The cause of the shooting is under investigation. It was not immediately determined if the shooting was gang-related.
