Woman shot multiple times on rural Fresno road; sheriff's deputies on scene
A woman was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday after she was found on a rural road near Centerville, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office reported.
Spokesman Tony Botti said the woman was discovered on MacDonough Avenue between Belmont and Floradora avenues about 11 a.m. by a worker.
A suspect, David Brown, 40 was later arrested in Fresno after leading deputies on a 10-minute chase from Clovis to Fresno.
