Police say someone shot at a Kraft Foods plant from the highway
Tulare police are trying to figure out who shot several bullets at the Kraft Foods plant south of the city.
Police Sgt. Andy Garcia said workers inside the food plant, in the 10000 block of Avenue 184, reported the bullets being fired from a passing truck that was southbound on Highway 99 around 3 a.m. Sunday.
The workers told the officers that bullets appeared to come from the highway as the truck drove by. About 10 shots were heard, Garcia said. Officers on scene located evidence of the shooting, including where the building had been struck. There were no injuries reported, according to Garcia.
There is no description of the truck or the suspect and it is not known what kind of weapon was unknown, Garcia said.
