Kings County Sheriff’s Office seeks suspects in shooting death of 33-year-old man
The Kings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after the body of a man was found inside a vehicle early Tuesday morning in a rural Kettleman City neighborhood.
Deputies responded to the 200 block of Maud Street around 6:45 a.m. to reports of a man with gunshot wounds who was not breathing. California Highway Patrol officers and Avenal police officers also responded.
Investigators found the victim, 33-year-old Armando Garza, seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Garza died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
No suspects have been identified.
