Elm Avenue shooting and gunshot victim linked, police say
A male showed up to the hospital with a gunshot wound on Thursday. Now Fresno police are trying to find out what happened.
At 4:31 p.m., officers went to 2624 S. Elm Ave. near the Dollar King Market in southwest Fresno for a ShotSpotter alert, police said. When officers arrived, a victim was not found, but soon afterward the male showed up to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Police believe the victim and the ShotSpotter incident are related.
