Two Kingsburg teens were arrested on Tuesday after allegedly making threats on social media and posing with what looked like two firearms and a knife.

Joshua Dougherty, 19, was arrested at his Kingsburg home, according to a news release. The other suspect, 19-year-old Joshua Baker, identified by the State Center Community College District, was arrested at Reedley College.

Police described the weapons shown in the post as “an airsoft gun, a BB gun and a knife.”

“Some of you are alright don’t come to school tomorrow...” read the Twitter post, with the photo of the males dressed in all black, holding the weapons.

Neil Dadian, Kingsburg Police Department chief of police, said “at no point was there a threat to the Kingsburg community, residents or schools.”

Dougherty and Baker remained in Fresno County Jail as of 9 p.m. Tuesday.
