Nearly 500 people were at this house party when shots rang out
Two men were hit by gunfire during a large house party near Avocado Lake on Christmas Eve, said Sgt. Ryan Gilbert with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 1400 block of Piedra Road in Sanger around 1 a.m. Sunday where they found one person shot in the chest and another in the shoulder.
Four hundred to 500 people were at the house party, Gilbert said.
The two men are in stable condition and expected to survive.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related, Gilbert said.
